สัมผัสประสบการณ์ UFABET มือถือ are the most important resource/value creators for their clubs (and their immaterial assets). In order to effectively compete, football teams need to be able to attract and integrate the best athletes from the global pool. This requires a high level of cultural sensitivity, which is a prerequisite for team performance.

In this article, we present an empirical analysis of the impact of cultural differences on football team dynamics. Using data from 23,186 matches from 45 international leagues, we show that the relationship between a team’s dominant playing style and its economic/market value is moderated by the extent to which cultural diversity exists within a team.

The data were collected via participant observation, a method that enables researchers to become immersed in the day-to-day activities of a research setting and capture relevant, authentic data (van der Zee and van Oudenhoven 2000). The first author conducted an 18-month ethnographic study embedded in the daily operations of the AIK football club as an academy, school, extra training, and holiday camp coach, and as a co-ordinator of the football team’s research initiatives.

Using Hofstede’s Individualism-Collectivism dimension as the dependent variable, our results indicate that countries with the highest Individualism-Collectivism indices receive more football transfers from other countries, than countries with lower indices. These findings are consistent with previous empirical and theoretical literature on the impact of cultural diversity on team performance. However, the current study broadens the empirical base and the theoretical framing to include 45 international football leagues from different national divisions.
